Important Notice

If a license application has not been submitted for a product containing a Priority 1 NHP, the product will be removed from sale. This removal could occur at the manufacturer importer, distributor or even the retail level. However, if you have applied for a license on or before June 30, 2004, the product will not be removed from sale in Canada.

On January 1, 2005 Health Canada will start compliance activity on Priority 2 NHPs for which a product application has not been submitted.
